All about the team behind Mercy Gaming
Tim “The Tuna” Berto
Tim is a U.S. military veteran, founder, and CEO of Mercy Gaming. While his background is in communication system engineering, he fell in love with the gaming community in 2017 when the video game Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) released their first alpha.
Since that time, he has been involved with some of the biggest names and communities in PUBG. After seeing so many talented players competing in major esports tournaments and creating content on streaming services such as Twitch with no place to call home, in 2021 he made the decision to launch Mercy.
Nico “Cypress” Willmes
Nico is a founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Mercy Gaming. He has been involved in the gaming community in a multitude of capacities for the past 5 years.
At Mercy, Nico works on scouting gaming talent, assisting with graphic design and video editing projects and meeting with current and prospective partners. He frequently ranks #1 in Microshot Ultimate Aimlabs and has asked us to tell you “get gud” (whatever that means).
Johan “Xawius” Åberg
Johan is a founder and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Mercy Gaming. He has been involved in the gaming industry since the early CS:GO days and has experience dealing with esports, sponsors, contracting, and day-to-day business operations.
In addition to his experience in the finance sector, he has his ear to the ground when it comes to esports talent. This unique combination of experience makes him a great asset to the team.
Kristo “Xkriss” Kiisler
Kristo “xKriss” Kiisler is a founder and CMO of Mercy Gaming. Kristo has been in the competitive gaming industry since the age of 15.
As a competitive player for teams such as Method and Raise Your Edge, as well as a veteran content creator, Kristo brings a unique perspective to marketing within the esports community and fulfills a crucial role at Mercy Gaming.
